David Hart works at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), located on the campus of the University of California, San Diego. SDSC is also the leading-edge site for the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NPACI), a 48-institution partnership that aims to design and build the computational environment to support tomorrow's scientific discovery.

David is Assistant Director for Communications at SDSC. As part of that job, he manages the group that produces publications and Web sites, all on Macs so far. It does mean that he is familiar with using his Mac to develop and maintain several large Web sites and interact with 300 fellow SDSC employees who use Macs, Windows, and many variants of UNIX.
