Camouflaging Your Mac

If all else fails, we discuss some of the emulation software that can turn your Mac, at least temporarily, into another type of computer. We also talk a little about tricks for making your Mac appear to be more like a Windows machine.

CelView the new Mac RUMBA, from Cel Corporation, supports SNA and TCP/IP access to IBM mainframes.
ComLink, 1996 shareware from Will Price
DataComet, shareware from databeast, supports Kerberos.
F-Secure SSH from Data Fellows offers SSH connection clients for the Mac.
NiftyTelnet SSH, a freeware enhancement of NiftyTelnet by Jonas Walldén of Sweden. Because of U.S. regulations, it cannot be used in the U.S.
NiftyTelnet, freeware from Chris Newman, supports Kerberos.
ProTERM Mac from Intrec includes an integrated text editor and many terminal types.
