For the idly curious, David Hart works at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC), located on the campus of the University of California, San Diego, not far from the shore of the Pacific Ocean. SDSC is also the leading-edge site for the National Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NPACI), a partnership of 49 universities and institutions that is designing and building the computational environment to support tomorrow's scientific discovery. More specifically, Dave is assistant director for communications at SDSC.
